This is a review article that aims to assess the particularities of COVID-19 in patients with lung cancer. We performed an extensive electronic search of the literature using PubMed database until the 25^th of September 2020. The following keywords were used: lung cancer’, ‘lung neoplasm’, ‘lung malignancy’ in combination with ‘novel coronavirus’, ‘covid-19’ and ‘SARS-CoV-2’. A total of 473 articles were extracted, from which only 55 articles concerning specifically the association between COVID-19 and lung cancer were included in this review.
