Study Description

The goal of this study is to survey hotspot mutations in tumor biopsies from lung adenocarcinoma patients and understand the frequency of driver mutations in the Lebanese population relative to Western populations through next generation sequencing.

Population Description

Next Generation Sequencing of multiple cancer-causing genes in lung adenocarinoma patients' DNA samples.

Sampling Method

85 DNA samples were shipped for genetic testing at AVERA Institute of Human Genetics. TruSeq Amplicon Cancer Panel utilized.

Inclusion Criteria

Patients native to the Levant area with diagnosed lung adenocarcinoma (Non Small Cell Lung Cancer).
