The proposed retrospective study aims to look at the demographics of stray bullet injuries from the available medical records at AUBMC from July 2009 till present. Specifically, data will be obtained on injured body part, whether or not the patient was admitted to the hospital (and mean hospital stay), fatality, kind of intervention, mortality rate by place of injury, and consequences of injury. The medical records at AUB indicate that there are a total of 154 cases of bullet injuries since 2009. The charts of these patients will be reviewed to obtain the above mentioned information. Additionally, a case report will be written on a 38-year old woman presenting to the emergency department with a visible bullet in the left side of her forehead. She was struck by a falling bullet while having dinner in a seafront restaurant, however, remained fully alert and conscious.

All patients who presented to the emergency department with bullet injuries from July 2009 to November 2015
